LiggieFees@Potch is an Annual Event that takes place in December.

The LiggieFees started in 2015 as a very small fundraising event when the Principal, Catharien Saayman and management saw an opportunity to help alleviate the huge deficit between what is needed to look after the 230 children in our care and what we receive as subsidy.

We decided that we would keep our lights shining for a whole week, hoping that we would get at least 100 visitors every night. Imagine our delight when after this week, we realized that we had more than 17 000 visitors!

The rest is as they say, history: since 2015 we had more than a quarter million visitors, and we are officially the biggest festival in Potchefstroom.

This fundraising event sustains our organization and guarantees that we take proper care of the children entrusted to us while we wait for the Government subsidy.

The gates opens at 18:00 every day.

General Access – R40

General access to festival grounds. Artist performances can be watched with this ticket, seats are not guaranteed.

Season Pass- R1200

Season Pass gives you access to all 33 nights of the LiggieFees@Potch. Once scanned in on the first night of attendance, you will received a personalized punch card that can be used for the whole event.

Early Access – R60

The Early Access ticket provides you with access to the festival grounds 15 minutes before the gates open to general ticket holders.

VIP Access – R1200

The VIP Package includes VIP and Early Access for 4 people for the chosen artist performance and 1 free beverage per person.

VIP Plus Access- R3000

The ultimate LiggieFees@Potch experience. With the VIP Plus Package you get the following:

VIP and Early Access for 6 people
VIP Parking for 2 vehicles

LIGGIEMARK

A cozy market where you can pick and choose from a variety of pretty things, food, wooden items, toys, home goods, shiny things, gifts, and keepsakes… our exhibitors have been specially selected and are hard at work to showcase the best products, from handmade to imported, so that you can find that perfect gift or something special for yourself… young and old can come browse, stroll, admire, and shop to their heart’s content…

The market is open from November 29 to December 27, from 18:00 to 22:00… yes, we are even open on Sundays.

The market will be closed on December 24 and 25.

KIDS AREA

Kids Wristbands

We have free wristbands available at the entrance gate for your kids safety.

Pre-schoolers

An enclosed safe space for kids of 7 and younger. Children older than the age of 8 are not allowed in the play area for safety of small children. There will be a child minder to ensure that kids are safe and play well with each other. Friendships will definitely be made. Right next door “OUPA SE WA” , a next level ride-on is available for little ones with a sense of adventure.
